CREDIBILITY FLAG (added 2026-07-02): Mullvad co-founder/CEO Daniel Berntsson was reported by Flamman (June 26, 2026, corroborated by Nya Dagbladet, Kvartal, Nerikes Allehanda) to have personally donated 5M SEK (~€452,000) in 2025 to the far-right Örebropartiet, which campaigns on “large-scale re-migration” and supports expanded surveillance cameras and secret wiretapping — the opposite of Mullvad’s public privacy stance.
