Notes: Cherokee County, GA Sheriff’s Office arrested one deputy for Flock LPR misuse on June 12, 2026; a proactive audit of the system that same week tripled the count to three arrests (deputy, lieutenant, sergeant). Third documented Flock abuse case in Georgia in seven months (after Braselton and Coffee County, both cataloged elsewhere). Core argument: audit-log oversight is reactive — Norfolk’s logs went unreviewed for ~2 years — so misconduct surfaces only when agencies choose to look, and most don’t.
