Officer Lamar Roman met a woman on the set of the AppleTV+ show “Bad Monkey” while working a security detail, catcalled/harassed her for her name and Instagram, then illegally looked her up in DAVID (Florida’s DMV database for law enforcement), placed her license plate on a surveillance “hotlist” to get real-time ALPR notifications whenever she drove past a camera, then used that tracking to locate and pursue her — reaching 70 MPH on a two-lane highway, passing multiple vehicles in no-passing zones, and nearly causing a head-on collision with an oncoming pickup truck that had to veer off the road.
