Relevant To: ALPR presentation (August); activist counter-surveillance tooling
Verification Status: Verified (confirmed via screenshot)
Notes: Open-source Python tool (MIT license) for detecting AI-powered license plate reader cameras — Flock Safety, Raven, Penguin, PigVision, and similar — while wardriving. Cameras are detected passively via the radio signals they themselves broadcast: v2.0 added WiFi probe-request detection alongside the original BLE scanning, since newer Flock firmware no longer advertises via Bluetooth. Features include channel hopping, per-device frame/sequence logging, and results saved to flocks.json / packets.json. Requires Python 3.10+. A genuinely practical piece of counter-surveillance tooling worth flagging alongside deflock.org and HaveIBeenFlocked.com in any BPA materials pointing people toward ways to locate nearby ALPR cameras.
